Les événements d’avril avec Innovations en concert et le Quatuor Bozzini

@ Chapelle historique du Bon-Pasteur

The April events with Innovations en concert and the Quatuor Bozzini

This April 17-20, Innovations en concert and the Quatuor Bozzini team up to bring you an action-packed series of events celebrating international connections. Surrounding the Innovations en concert solo performance by Philip Thomas on April 20, and the Quatuor Bozzini’s Salon concerts April 17, 18, and 19, various momentous activities are planned: the inaugural Innovations en concert Score Reading Club, a round-table discussion with exciting guests, as well as networking events and receptions.

During the week, out-of-town guests include Bryn Harrison, Laurence Crane, Amber Priestley, Sean Clancy and of course Philip Thomas (all from Great Britain); seven composers of the Ny Musikks Komponistgruppe of Norway: Rebecka Ahvennniemi, Martin Rane Bauck, Kristin Bolstad, Sigurd Fischer Olsen, Tyler Futtrell, Hugo Harmens and Stine Sørlie; and Martin Arnold of Toronto. Featured local artists include Michael Oesterle, Cassandra Miller and Maxime McKinley.

The visit to Montreal of British pianist Philip Thomas, one of Europe’s foremost aesthetic explorers, is made possible by Innovations en concert with the support of the Canada Council for the Arts, with the collaboration of the Quatuor Bozzini.
