Malcolm Goldstein’s the improvising musician “as one centered in the process of discovery, unfolding moment to moment, that is realized in the gesture of enactment/sounding.” His practice touches on social, political, educational, aesthetic and economic considerations, exploring the “expression of the wholeness of our humanity.” In this three-day workshop, he will lead fifteen students through a musical landscape in which he’s journeyed for half a century.
